For those of you who know Amy Good, I just got off the phone with her and she survived the hurricane. For those who do not know, she lives in Houston and is a NICU doc finishing her final years of training. She toughed out the hurricane by staying in the hospital. As of about 8:30 Sat night, no one was allowed to go back to their home. They are hoping to get back sometime tomorrow. A few windows broke at the hospital (and they were hurricane grade windows) so she is a little worried about her apartment. Also, no one is allowed to drink the water for fear of contamination For anyone wanting to keep up to date with her, she is regularly updating her Facebook page. As long as she is in the hospital she can keep her cell charged but once home, she most likely will not have power for awhile. Please keep her and all of the other residents of Houston in your prayers as they recover from the damage.
