I thought I would share with you all Samuel's interpretation of the Christmas story. We have several books that talk about Mary, Joseph, and baby Jesus. Every time he gets to this point in each book, he says it is mommy, daddy, and him. One book has a page with one angel on it and that is daddy. The next page has five angels on it and he says all of them are mommy. Finally, when he sees the animals in the stable, he says they are all Papaw's cows. Obviously, he doesn't get the Christmas story yet but it is a hoot to hear him give his own thoughts on what he sees. We've tried reasoning with him but he is certain the books are about him and his family.
