Silence

That is what I am currently hearing in my house and it is glorious. ServPro left a few minutes ago with the last of the fans. They didn't bother checking to see what was dry because if it isn't dry after a week and a half of fans, it simply isn't going to dry. To make it even better, Samuel fell asleep about 5 minutes before they came so I didn't have to deal with him getting in their way.

We are still waiting on insurance so we can get our house put back together. Mike called yesterday and they said they've sent the adjusters report to a third party for a construction estimate. That seems weird since they can't see the actual damage but that decision wasn't mine to make. We informed our agent yesterday that we hadn't heard anything in over a week and he was quickly on it. It is nice to have the go between because things tend to speed up when he calls.

The best news of all though is that we received the paperwork saying our house insurance has been reinstated. Yes, we are off the suspicious list! The cruel twist is that it was scheduled to cancel on my birthday in June.
