2 Down, 4 to Go

Two fans were removed this morning, only 4 more to go plus the 2 dehumidifiers. The upstairs carpet has dried so those are the fans that were removed. There is still a fan in the kitchen as the floor there is no where close to being dry. They said the vinyl will have to be removed completely and they are only keeping the fan to minimize the damage. The downstairs carpet is dry but the ceiling is still wet. The levels are within range but they are keeping the fans to minimize the damage there too. Mike has started calling contractors and setting up appointments for tomorrow. Insurance still hasn't received the adjusters report so we can't go much further until then.

Please keep insurance in your prayers as we are still labeled suspicious until the adjusters report comes in. Our agent called today to let us know they are trying to cancel us. They are claiming we still have a claim open with our old insurance from the ice storm in 2007. They didn't pay a dime on that claim and our agent has proof that it was closed so he is trying to work it all out.

Also, keep Samuel in your prayers as he is having a tough time. He was sick off and on last week so that didn't help but the house is a wreck and we having been living in a hotel so he is really off kelter. We checked out of the hotel this morning and then got a call a few hours later that we could go back for a few days. We opted to stay at my parents house so Samuel can have more room to roam. We also thought that might help the insurance realize we are gold diggers, we just want a fair settlement.
