Easter

I'm finally finding time to post some Easter pictures. Samuel participted in two Easter egg hunts this year. The first one our Sunday School class put together. Samuel had a blast looking for eggs and had no idea there was a special treat inside. The next day, we went to a hunt at my grandma's assisted living place and Samuel knew exactly what to do. As soon as we walked into the room he saw eggs and started hunting them. We had to inform him the hunt hadn't started yet but that didn't seem to stop him. Once they finally started the hunt, Samuel opened every egg he found to see what was inside. Needless to say, we had a trail of jelly beans where he was hunting. He had a blast though and we had fun watching him. Now we have egg hunts every day since we seemed to have accumulated a million eggs and they like to hide all over the house (i.e. some little boy likes to dump the whole basket and scatter them everywhere).

Here are two pictures from the weekend. The first is at the end of the Sunday School egg hunt. He discovered jelly beans and found a quiet place to sit and enjoy them. The second was taken at my parent's house on Easter Sunday. We all went to their house for lasagna after church. The kids didn't want to stay still for their picture so this is the best we could do.
