Sorry I've been absent from my blog for awhile. I've been a bit busy working on our MOPS Christmas meeting. It was this morning and it went great. We did a take off of Oprah's Favorite Things. It was a complete surprise to everyone which made it hard but a blast. We received donations from around the community so that every mom received several gifts. We then had several large donations that we had a drawing for. It was really cool to see the community support us.
This first photo is what it looked like behind the scenes. We had all of the gifts lined up and ready to go so our "elves" could easily grab the next gift. We used staff from the church as elves and they did an amazing job. Dr. Marshall seemed to be loving it. We appreciate all of the help!
This is the front of the room where we had gifts hiding under all of the boxes. We also brought in the cart you see below. Dr Marshall and the staff came in ringing bells while our coordinator brought in the cart. The look on the ladies faces when they realized what was going on was priceless.
This photo was taken near the end when most of the gifts had been given away. All of the moms went home with a bag full of swag and a huge smile on their face.
